GigaMedia Launches New Otome Game- AkaSeka (Reciting With You in the Glowing Red World)

TAIPEI, Taiwan, December 18, 2017 -- GigaMedia Limited (NASDAQ: GIGM) announced its new game Akasasu Sekai de Kimi to Utau, a.k.a. AkaSeka (English: Reciting With you in the Glowing Red World), a Japanese folklore-based mobile game targeted towards females, is now available for download on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.  

AkaSeka, a combination of a match 3 game and a role-playing game,  was published by GCrest in April 2017 in Japan and listed in Top 10 female-oriented mobile games. In the atmospheres of romantic stories, players need to use different strategies and upgrades of useful characters to play. Another fascinating aspect attracting players is the voice cast. There are more than 60 voice actors for this mobile game who make the overall gaming experiences better and enjoyable.

GigaMedia acquired the exclusive rights on November 15th 2017 to operate AkaSeka and the game was released on December 15th in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. With the experience driving successful operations for the Company’s previous female-oriented game Yume 100, GigaMedia has the confidence to provide one more play-easy and addictive game to players.
